Taylor Momsen - The Pretty Reckless

Another song I'm in love with at the moment is " You make me wanna die" by The Pretty Reckless. I have a feeling that no matter what Taylor Momsen produced I'd love thanks to her portrayal of Jenny in Gossip Girl. Even though her style is totally not me, I've formed a slight girl crush and currently want trashy hair extensions and regrowth mixed with underwear worn as clothes but in a not really sexy way. Either way I can't get this song out of my head! Not that that's a bad thing...

Ok sometimes I wish i were Miley Cyrus...
She has great hair and a HOT boyfriend (though my 17 year old sister has updated me that they actually broke up...woo maybe he'll be back in Australia now!)

She has had a lot of negative feedback about her new video but i like it anyway, shes not 14 anymore and people need to remember that.

Orange and Poppyseed

Just chilling out at home today, its so nice to not have to wear all black! One of my favourite blogs is cupcakes&cashmere on which Emily posts her outfits and her cooking, which basically combines two of my favourite things to do. So this post is inspired by her blog, as i write this I am waiting for my orange and poppyseed muffins to cool down!

(the icing is made with real strawberries so it actually tastes like strawberries, not sugar!)

I just spent the most amazing weekend with my gorgeous friends drinking wine, eating too much and just being generally silly.

my 21st!

I recently turned 21, and instead of having a big party I took my friends to the McLaren Vale Sea and Vines festival. We spent the day stuffing our faces and drinking really good wine. I recommend the moscato from Chalk Hill.

My friends all put in to buy me these Mimco warrior shoe boots, i've wanted them since March...they got me a shell mimco ring and a silver bracelet too, awesome!

It looks like an AMAZING course and I really want to get in!! I'm heading to open day in Melbourne in August, so hopefully I meet someone who can help me out as there are only 45 spots :(
